Booking and participation conditions

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern bookings and participation in dune buggy, quad bike, dirt bike and related desert experiences arranged by Offroad Adventure Fun Tours Dubai (“Offroad Adventure Fun,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Please read these terms carefully before making a payment or participating in an activity. The person making a booking is responsible for bringing these terms to the attention of every participant included in the booking.

Effective date: 11 August 2026
Last updated: 11 August 2026

By confirming a booking, making a deposit or payment, or participating in an activity, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UAE consumer law.

1. Operator and Contact Details

The website and booking service are operated under the Offroad Adventure Fun Tours Dubai brand.

Business: Offroad Adventure Fun Tours Dubai
Address: 105-A83 White Swan Building, Trade Center, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Email: booking@offroadadventurefun.com
Telephone/WhatsApp: +971 55 527 8481
Website: https://offroadadventurefun.com/

2. Bookings and Confirmation

A website enquiry, WhatsApp message, telephone conversation or quotation does not by itself create a confirmed booking.

A booking is confirmed when:

  • The requested activity, date and time have been accepted by us;
  • The required deposit or full payment has been received;
  • We have issued written confirmation by email, WhatsApp or another agreed method; and
  • Any special booking conditions have been accepted.

All bookings remain subject to vehicle, guide, route and transfer availability. Availability shown or discussed before payment is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.

The lead guest must provide accurate information, including the activity, vehicle, duration, number of participants, preferred time, contact details and transfer requirements.

The lead guest confirms that they are authorized to make the booking and accept these terms on behalf of all participants in their group.

3. Prices, Inclusions and Optional Services

Unless expressly stated otherwise, dune buggy prices are charged per vehicle rather than per person. Quad-bike and dirt-bike prices may be charged per vehicle or rider, as stated in the applicable quotation or package.

The price and inclusions shown in the final booking confirmation take priority over general promotional material.

Depending on the selected package, inclusions may include:

  • The confirmed Polaris, Can-Am, quad bike or dirt bike;
  • A professional desert guide or convoy leader;
  • Pre-tour operating and safety instructions;
  • Helmet and goggles;
  • Additional dirt-bike protective gear where applicable;
  • Water or refreshments;
  • A scenic photography stop; and
  • Complimentary sandboarding where operationally available.

Hotel transfers, private vehicles, additional services and third-party activities are not included unless they are expressly listed in the booking confirmation.

Prices may change before a booking is confirmed. After confirmation, the agreed price will not normally change unless the guest requests an amendment, additional service or upgrade, or an obvious pricing error occurred.

4. Deposits and Payments

Depending on the package and booking date, we may require either:

  • A deposit of up to 50% of the total booking price; or
  • Full payment to confirm the reservation.

The required amount and balance due date will be stated in the quotation or payment request. A reservation may be released if the required payment is not received by the specified deadline.

Payments may be made through an approved payment link, bank transfer or another method accepted by us. Guests must not send card details through ordinary email or WhatsApp messages.

Any remaining balance must be paid by the stated due date or before the activity begins. We may refuse participation where the agreed payment remains outstanding.

Guests are responsible for bank, foreign-exchange or card-provider fees charged by their own financial provider. We are not responsible for exchange-rate differences.

5. Guest Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Notice receivedStandard policy
At least 24 hours before the confirmed tour time Free cancellation or one free rescheduling request, subject to availability
Less than 24 hours before the confirmed tour time Payments are normally non-refundable and rescheduling is not guaranteed
No-show or failure to attend No refund or free rescheduling

Cancellation notice must be sent through WhatsApp or email and is effective when received and acknowledged by our booking team.

When calculating the notice period, the confirmed activity start time—not the pickup time—is normally used unless stated otherwise.

A rescheduled booking is subject to vehicle, guide, transfer and time-slot availability. Any price difference for a new date, vehicle or package must be paid before confirmation.

Promotions, group bookings, private events, multiday tours, third-party combinations and specially arranged services may carry different cancellation terms. Any different terms will be disclosed before payment and recorded in the booking confirmation.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Once approved by us, refunds generally require approximately 7–14 business days to appear, depending on the bank, card issuer, payment provider and currency.

Processing times controlled by banks or payment providers are outside our direct control. The amount received may differ slightly because of exchange rates or third-party charges that were not received by us.

No refund is available for unused portions of a tour resulting from:

  • Late arrival by the guest;
  • A voluntary decision to stop or leave early;
  • Failure to follow safety instructions;
  • Removal from the activity for unsafe or abusive behaviour;
  • Incorrect information provided by the guest; or
  • Failure to meet an eligibility requirement disclosed before booking.

This section does not limit any refund or remedy that must be provided under applicable UAE consumer law.

7. Weather, Safety and Operational Changes

Desert activities depend on weather, visibility, sand conditions, vehicle condition, guide availability, government directions and other operational factors.

We may delay, modify, relocate, shorten or cancel an activity when reasonably necessary to protect guests, staff, equipment or operations.

Route selection may change based on:

  • Weather and visibility;
  • Sand and dune conditions;
  • Guest experience and confidence;
  • Vehicle and convoy requirements;
  • Government or land-access restrictions; and
  • The professional judgment of the lead guide.
If we cancel the complete activity because of weather, safety or an operational problem and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, guests may choose a rescheduled date or a refund of the amount paid directly for the cancelled activity.

We are not responsible for additional travel, hotel, flight, itinerary or indirect costs resulting from an operational change, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

8. Age, Identification and Eligibility

Dune buggy drivers

The standard minimum age to drive a dune buggy is 16 years. A parent or legal guardian may be required to approve participation by a driver under 18.

Dune buggy passengers

The standard minimum passenger age is 3 years, subject to the child being able to sit safely in the vehicle and use the installed restraint system correctly.

Quad-bike and dirt-bike riders

Eligibility depends on the vehicle, rider size, experience, physical ability and package. Guests must confirm age and experience requirements before booking.

We may request original or reliable proof of age or identity. Participation may be refused if eligibility cannot be reasonably verified.

A road driving licence is not normally required for guided activities conducted on designated off-road desert routes. This does not remove the obligation to follow all operating and safety instructions.

Final participation decisions remain subject to the guide’s reasonable safety assessment at the activity location.

9. Health, Fitness and Medical Suitability

Off-road desert activities involve vibration, sudden movement, uneven terrain, heat, dust, physical exertion and changing conditions.

Participation is not recommended during pregnancy or for guests with significant back, neck, spinal, heart or other conditions that may be aggravated by off-road activity.

Guests are responsible for assessing whether they are physically capable of participating. Anyone uncertain about their suitability should obtain professional medical advice before booking.

Guests must disclose relevant limitations that may affect safe participation. We will handle health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and only to the extent reasonably necessary.

We may refuse or stop participation where, in the guide’s reasonable judgment, continuing would create an unacceptable risk.

10. Mandatory Safety Rules

Every driver and rider must attend the safety briefing and follow the instructions of guides and staff at all times.

Participants must:

  • Wear the required helmet, goggles, restraints and protective equipment;
  • Use the vehicle only in the manner demonstrated;
  • Remain on the designated guided route;
  • Maintain the instructed following distance;
  • Follow convoy signals and guide directions;
  • Control speed according to terrain, visibility and guide instructions;
  • Keep hands, arms and legs inside a buggy while it is moving;
  • Inform the guide immediately about a problem or incident;
  • Avoid using a mobile phone while driving or riding; and
  • Stop when instructed.

Participants must not:

  • Race, drift, perform donuts or drive in a zig-zag pattern;
  • Overtake without express permission;
  • Drive aggressively or deliberately collide with another vehicle;
  • Leave the convoy or designated route;
  • Permit an unauthorized person to operate the vehicle;
  • Drive under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or impairing medication;
  • Remove or interfere with safety equipment;
  • Carry unauthorized passengers; or
  • Ignore guide, staff or emergency instructions.

We may immediately stop a participant or terminate their activity for unsafe conduct. No refund is due when an activity is terminated because a guest breached these safety rules.

11. Vehicle Inspection, Loss and Damage

Vehicles may be inspected before and after use. Guests should report any visible existing damage or operating concern before departure.

Guests are not responsible for reasonable wear and tear or damage caused solely by a verified mechanical failure that was not caused or aggravated by misuse.

A driver or rider may be responsible for reasonable repair, replacement, recovery or associated costs where damage results from:

  • Reckless, deliberate or prohibited driving;
  • Drifting, racing, collision or unauthorized overtaking;
  • Leaving the designated route or convoy;
  • Ignoring a warning, guide signal or safety instruction;
  • Allowing an unauthorized person to operate the vehicle;
  • Operating the vehicle while impaired;
  • Continuing to drive after a warning light, unusual noise or instruction to stop;
  • Misuse of controls, transmission, safety equipment or accessories;
  • Loss of keys, equipment or supplied protective gear; or
  • Intentional or negligent conduct.

Any damage claim should be reasonably supported by inspection findings, photographs, recovery information, repair quotations, invoices or other available evidence.

The guest must cooperate with reasonable incident-reporting and investigation requirements. Nothing in this section permits us to charge a guest for damage for which they are not responsible under applicable law.

12. Off-Road Risk and Liability

Dune buggy, quad-bike and dirt-bike activities are adventure activities with inherent risks. These may include:

  • Changing sand, dunes and uneven terrain;
  • Vehicle movement, vibration and loss of control;
  • Heat, sun exposure, wind, dust and reduced visibility;
  • Collision, rollover, falls and contact with terrain or equipment;
  • Actions of other participants;
  • Mechanical or equipment problems; and
  • Delay in reaching remote desert locations.

Standard road-motor insurance may not apply to off-road recreational activity. Guests should obtain appropriate travel or adventure insurance if they require cover for cancellation, medical treatment, personal accident, belongings or other losses.

Participants accept the ordinary inherent risks of an off-road activity when those risks remain despite reasonable safety measures.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, consequential or purely economic loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any mandatory consumer right.

13. Hotel Transfers and Pickup Services

Pickup and drop-off are optional unless expressly included in the confirmed package.

The guest must provide a complete and accurate hotel, residence or pickup location and remain reachable through the supplied telephone or WhatsApp number.

Pickup times are estimates and may change because of traffic, weather, other guests, route restrictions or operational circumstances.

Guests should be ready at the agreed location at least 10 minutes before the communicated pickup time.

Additional waiting, route changes or a second pickup attempt may incur an extra charge. A missed pickup caused by incorrect guest information or failure to be ready may be treated as a late arrival or no-show.

Unless expressly agreed, luggage, oversized equipment, child seats and accessibility requirements are not automatically included and must be requested in advance.

14. Late Arrival and No-Shows

Self-arriving guests should reach the desert meeting point at least 30 minutes before the confirmed tour time to complete registration, equipment preparation and the safety briefing.

A late arrival may result in:

  • A reduced driving or riding duration;
  • Movement to a later available time slot;
  • An amendment or rescheduling charge; or
  • Loss of the booking where the tour can no longer operate safely or on schedule.

We are not required to extend an activity beyond its scheduled completion time because a guest arrived late.

Failure to attend without timely notice is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

15. Personal Photography and Promotional Media

Guests may take personal photographs and videos at designated stops, provided this does not interfere with safety, staff, other guests or operations.

Mobile phones, handheld cameras and selfie devices must not be used by a guest while driving or riding.

We will request permission before intentionally using an identifiable guest’s image for our own promotional purposes where consent is required. Guests may tell the team that they do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos.

Professional or commercial filming requires prior written approval.

16. Guest Conduct

Guests must behave respectfully toward staff, guides, drivers, local communities and other participants.

We may refuse or terminate service for:

  • Threatening, abusive, discriminatory or violent conduct;
  • Intentional damage or theft;
  • Sexual harassment or inappropriate behaviour;
  • Alcohol or drug impairment;
  • Repeated refusal to follow instructions; or
  • Conduct that places people, property or operations at risk.

No refund is available where service is refused or terminated because of serious guest misconduct.

17. Third-Party Services

A booking may include or link to transportation, desert safari, yacht, dining, marketplace, payment or other services supplied by independent providers.

Where we act only as a booking facilitator, the third-party provider’s own terms may also apply. We will identify material third-party components where reasonably practicable.

We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places directly upon us, but we are not responsible for independent acts outside our reasonable control except where the law provides otherwise.

18. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Guests should raise an operational concern with the guide or booking team as soon as possible so that we have a reasonable opportunity to address it.

A formal complaint should include:

  • The booking name and reference;
  • The activity date and time;
  • A clear description of the issue;
  • Relevant photographs, receipts or communications; and
  • The resolution requested.

Send complaints to booking@offroadadventurefun.com . We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period.

These terms do not prevent a consumer from contacting an appropriate UAE consumer-protection authority or exercising any statutory right.

19. Applicable Law and General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.

Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or jurisdiction, disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be submitted to the competent courts of Dubai.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not permanently waive the right to enforce it.

We may update these terms to reflect operational, legal or service changes. The terms presented before a confirmed booking will normally apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed with the guest.

Where a booking confirmation contains a specific written term that conflicts with a general provision on this page, the specific booking term will apply to that booking, subject to applicable law.
